  How to find out my internet account access details ?
  If you lost your identification and/or your password, please go on www.maritima-ferries.eu then to « my account » and follow the process. You will receive new info on your personal email address. Don’t forget to amend it if you did change your email address.

 

 
  What does mean « Prima Corsa » offers on Corsica routes ?
  « Prima Corsa » fares are limited offers. All the year round you will get a certain discount on specific dates. They are applicable under special conditions you may consult on our website www.maritima-ferries.eu Go to « Good deals » and then Continent Corse.

 

 
  What are our different types of accommodation onboard ?
  You can book one of the following four types of accommodation:
- “SINS” means you can travel with no specific onboard accommodation.
- “Fauteuil” means you will travel on a seat (normal seat on North African routes and comfort seat on Corsica routes). Seats are located in a common lounge or in a cabin to share.
- Berths (couchettes) can be booked in a 2 or 4 passengers cabin (male or female).
- Exclusive cabins are available from 1 up to 4 persons.
- De Luxe Cabins: On North African routes you can choose a De Luxe cabin or a Suite on our routes to Corsica/Sardinia. These De Luxe cabins have 2 rooms: a bedroom with a French bed and a lounge or with 2 beds.
You can have a virtual visit of our on board cabins if you surf on our website. Just go to “Our Ferries”.

 

 
  How to get a PRIORITY boarding ?
  You can book a PRIORITY boarding on Corsica routes only and this from Marseille. Only bookable for normal cars (not possible to special vehicles like motor homes, caravans, freight, etc..). When you reach the check in car desks you will get a special card to display behind your windscreen Then you will be led onto a priority boarding  lane.

 

 
  How kids and babies are travelling ?
  For security and safety raisons, port access and board access are subject to the presentation of an identity card/passport for all passengers. If not,
access will not be possible.
Please be informed that Maritima Ferries cannot carry unaccompanied people under 16 years old.
Nevertheless Maritima Ferries will be able to carry them if a specific authorization for unaccompanied children from their legal parents or legal persons can be presented.

 

 
  How to get a Corsican resident fare ?
  To take profit of this reduction you should be able to prove that your address is in Corsica. You can then book a trip from Corsica to the Continent and back. Return must be done within 3 months after departure date.

 

 
  I bought my ticket in Algeria,how could I amend my return trip ?
  You can amend your original ticket only via a travel agency. To Find a list of travel agencies just go to “Find a travel agency”.

 

 
  May I resell my ticket ?
  With reference to our general conditions of sales (article 2), a ticket is nominative and personal. That means you cannot give it to another customer.

 

 
  May I board with a liquid gas powered car ?
  nly cars equipped with security valves are authorized for boarding. You will board via the deck garage and our staff will help you park and guide you to your accommodation. For safety and security reasons and regarding garage capacity respect only a minimum space must be provided between two parked cars.

 

 
  How to insure my car from Algeria ?
  Please be informed that Maritima Ferries cannot insure your car any longer. You should inquire at port of departure before boarding to Marseille.

 

 
  What is to be done if any change of car happens or if my future car is not known at time of  booking ?
  If you don’t know the model of car just book your present vehicle and let it amend as soon as you know the new one. For this purpose please contact our Customer Service from Monday till Saturday from 08:30 am to 08:00 pm and also on Sunday from 09:30 am to 06:00 pm. Please dial +33825888088. New booking will be made according to your new car and garage availability. Fare will be adjusted if necessary.

 

 
  How to book an unaccompanied car ?
  Our freight service will take in charge your non driver car as well as non listed  vehicles.

  If you have a roof box or an attached bicycle you should declare and book the total height, length and width.

  Maritima Ferries offers promo fares all year round. By booking   you will be offered  the best available price. If a new promo fare should be available afterwards it will not be possible to adjust your booking.

May I book online and pay later?

Depending on the tariff you booked and your date of departure our booking system may propose you an optional reservation which is due to be paid within 2 days.
 

May I pay with a deposit ?

Un paiement en plusieurs fois sans frais peut vous  être proposé, selon les conditions ainsi que les dates de votre voyage et si votre réservation a une valeur supérieure à 500€ (hors frais de dossier).

f your reservation has a value over 500 € and if the conditions of your booking are compatible our system will propose you a payment with deposit.
A first settlement of minimum 20% of total booking (except taxes) has to be made immediately.
You will then have the possibility to settle your total payment with several deposits within a specified timescale. Beyond this deadline your booking will be automatically cancelled if balance is still overdue. In this case your deposit will be changed into a credit note.

Caution! Some special offers are to be paid immediately !

I have a credit voucher or a deposit – How will it be deducted?

You can use it as a mean of payment on our site.
If you have one or more named vouchers all of them will be displayed once you get connected with your client account and you will be able to use them.
If ýou have a voucher without name you have to put its registration number in the field “Advantage Code”.

How can I get an invoice or a payment certificate?

If you paid your booking at Maritima Ferries please send us an email through “Contact us”, in which you indicate your booking number. You will then receive a certificate within 8 days.
 

How can I book the Work Councils offer?

Maritima Ferries has a specific offer for work councils.
To take advantage of this offer on www.maritima-ferries.eu you have to enter in your booking to Corsica the code which has been given to your own work council in the field “Promotion code”.
You also can contact a travel agent or a Maritima Ferries agency.
You will find them at “Find your agency”.
This offer is valid on our lines to Corsica (Maritima Ferries and MERIDIONALE) and is submitted to a restricted contingent.

How will I receive my ticket?

After payment authorization on our web site you will receive a pdf ticket on your mail box. You must print it.

Your ticket was sent you as a pdf file just after payment authorization.

If you haven´t received it you can generate online a new email dispatch.
Just go to “My account” and select the booking you want to be emailed again.
If it doesn´t succeed please go to “Contact us” where you have the possibility to send us a message.

 

 
   I cannot print my ticket
  Please check the protection grade of your antivirus or your version of “Acrobat Reader” which should be 5.0 or later.

 

 
  I lost my ticket
  If your lost ticket was booked on www.maritima-ferries.eu you can get any time a duplicate.
Just go to “My account” and select the booking you want to be emailed again.
For all other kinds of ticket please contact your travel agency.
In case of a lost or stolen ticket on North Africa routes:
- please inform your agency as soon as possible
- no duplicate will be issued, so that a new ticket has to be bought again.
- on your request , lost ticket will be refunded (if not travelled) at the end of its validity.
- if no new ticket was bought or if your ticket wasn´t cancelled before departure, taxes only will be refunded.

 

 
  My ticket has been stolen
  If your stolen ticket had been booked on www.maritima-ferries.eu and hadn´t been changed by phone you can at any time get a copy on our web site.
Just go to “My account” and select the booking you want to be emailed again.
For all other kinds of ticket please contact your travel agency.
In case of a lost or stolen ticket on North Africa routes:
- please inform your agency as soon as possible
- no copy will be issued, so that a new ticket has to be bought again.
- on your request , lost ticket will be refunded (if not travelled) at the end of its validity.
- if no new ticket was bought or if your ticket wasn´t cancelled before departure, taxes only will be refunded.

 

 
  What are the conditions of cancellation and amendment?
 

CORSICA :

 1) Cancellation:
- Up to 4 days before departure, 20% fee calculated on net amount with a minimum of 15 EUR / adult / crossing and 7 EUR / child / crossing.
- Up to 1 day before departure: 50% on net amount of ticket
- On day of departure or beyond departure: 100% on net amount of ticket
Cancellation of a booking with deposit
- up to 60 days : 10% of net amount of ticket
- from 59 days (automatic cancellation): deposit cannot be refunded. It will be credited on next booking with a deduction of 5% on net amount.

 
 2) Amendment:
 - up to 1 day before departure: 2% fee by regular fares, 5% by special offers.
Fees apply on basis of net amount of ticket with maximum 10 EUR / passenger and 20 EUR / vehicle.
- on day of departure and beyond departure: 10% with maximum 20 EUR / passenger and 40 EUR / vehicle.

 

3) Amendment of a «Prima Corsa» Offer
- 10% of net amount up to 20% if change of tariff.

 

ALGERIA - TUNISIA

1) Ticket cancellation:
- up to 4 days before departure: 10% on net amount of ticket
- up to 1 day before departure: 30% on net amount of ticket
- on day of departure and beyond departure : 100% on net amount of ticket
 

2) Cancellation of a booking with deposit:
- up to 45 days before departure: 10% of net amount of ticket
- from 44 days before departure: deposit cannot be refund. It will be credited on next booking with a deduction of 5% of net amount.
 

3) Amendment:
- up to 1 day before departure: 2% fee by regular fares, 5% by special offers. Fees apply on basis of net amount of ticket with maximum 15 EUR / passenger and 20 EUR / vehicle.
- on day of departure and beyond departure: 10 % on net amount with maximum 20 EUR / passenger and 40 EUR / vehicle.

Les heures limites d’enregistrement et heures de présentation sont précisées dans les documents clients et sur les tickets.

 

Je voyage avec mon bébé, les cabines sont-elles équipées ?

Les dimensions des cabines permettent difficilement l'installation de lits bébés une fois toutes les couchettes déployées.
 Des matelas adaptés, à disposer entre les couchettes inférieures, sont disponibles gratuitement à la réception des navires Maritima Ferries en contre partie d’une pièce d’identité.

 

Puis-je voyager avec mon animal ?

L'importation d'animaux est soumise à une réglementation spéciale.

Pour les animaux domestiques (règlement CE n° 998/2003 et arrêt ministériel du 19 juillet 2002) : il est nécessaire de produire un certificat sanitaire avec vaccins à jour.
 Pour des raisons de bien être, de confort et afin d’éviter tout risque d’hyperthermie, la Maritima Ferries transporte les animaux de compagnie en chenil. Les animaux à bord des véhicules sont interdits.
 Suivant la taille et la législation en vigueur  relative à l’animal, vous pourrez, au moment de la réservation, opter pour l’une des deux solutions suivantes :
 - L’installation en chenil en cage individuelle.
 - Les chats et autres petits animaux pourront rester en votre compagnie, dans une cage spécialement prévue à cet effet, et ne devront pas nuire au confort des autres passagers.
 

Dans tous les cas :

 Les chiens de 1ère catégorie, étant légalement interdits dans les espaces publics y compris les chenils, ne sont plus autorisés à voyager sur les navires de la compagnie.
 Les chiens de 2ème catégorie doivent porter une muselière et être placés au chenil.
 Signaler la présence de votre animal lors de votre réservation et lors du contrôle d’embarquement.
 Être en possession d’un carnet de santé ou passeport européen avec vaccins et traitements anti-parasitaires à jour.
 Nous vous conseillons de consulter votre vétérinaire afin de vérifier la compatibilité de votre voyage avec l’âge et l’état de santé de votre animal
 Réglementation pour voyager dans la communauté européenne et hors communauté : nous vous recommandons de vous renseigner auprès des services sanitaires et vétérinaires compétents sur les réglementations en vigueur dans les pays de départ et d’arrivée ou l’ambassade en France du pays de destination concerné.

 

Existe-t-il des parkings dans l'enceinte portuaire ?

Il n'existe pas de parking courte ou longue durée à l'intérieur des enceintes portuaires. Si vous souhaitez laisser votre véhicule sur place vous devez vous  adresser à un parking privé à proximité. Pour connaître les  contacts possibles nous vous invitons à vous rapprocher des sites internet des offices de tourisme des villes portuaires concernées.

 

Suis-je assuré pendant ma traversée ?

En complément de votre billet nous  proposons une assurance  «Multi risques/Toutes causes justifiées» en collaboration avec notre partenaire April International.

 Pour la Corse et la Sardaigne le prix à régler, au moment de l'achat du billet, est de 5 euros par passager (bébé inclus).
 Pour l'Algérie et la Tunisie, le prix à régler au moment de l'achat du billet est de 10 euros par passager (bébé inclus).
 Il s’agit d’une assurance «Annulation de voyages» (jusqu’au jour du départ de la traversée aller) , «bagages», «assistance aux personnes» (couvrant assistance médicale, frais de recherche), «assistance véhicule» (sur lignes de Corse et Sardaigne uniquement)  et incluant également une garantie lorsqu’un événement soudain, imprévisible et justifiable vous empêche de voyager.
 Elle  est disponible uniquement pour les billets aller-retour. (la durée du voyage ne doit pas excéder 90 jours)
 Elle ne peut être souscrite que par des personnes résidant en France, dans un pays de l’Union Européenne, en Suisse, en Norvège ou au Liechtenstein.  quelle que soit leur nationalité.
 La souscription d'assurance se faisant lors de votre réservation il ne sera plus possible de l'intégrer à votre billet après le paiement.
 Pour les assurances spéciales visa/Maghreb nous vous invitons à entrer en contact avec votre consulat.

 

Je suis enceinte, est-il possible d’effectuer une traversée ?

Nous vous informons que les femmes enceintes peuvent effectuer un voyage en mer jusqu'à 7 mois de grossesse non révolus,  sous réserve de présenter un certificat médical autorisant le voyage.
